EAST LANSING, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team kicks off its 2018 fall campaign, Sept. 15-16, when it travels to East Lansing, Mich. for the 35th Annual Mary Fossum Invitational. The course will be set up as a par-72, playing to the distance of 6,334 yards at the Forest Akers West Golf Course.
The tournament will also mark the debut of new Head Coach Stephanie Jennings. Jennings, who took over on Sept. 6, is a former EMU golfer and was most recently the assistant PGA professional at Meadowbrook Country Club. A native of Pemberville, Ohio, Jennings played in 82 rounds for the Eagles between 1996 and 2000.
