Live Scoring.
COLUMBUS, Ohio. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team closes out regular season play at the Robert Kepler Invitational, April 22-23, on the par 71, 7,455 yard Scarlet Course. The 15-team field includes host Ohio State, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, and Rutgers, as well as six other Mid-American Conference members (Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami and Northern Illinois).
The two-day, 54-hole event features two rounds Saturday and the final round Sunday. The action begins Saturday with a 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Eastern Michigan last played in the event during the 2015-16 season, when the Eagles finished 13th overall shooting a 610 (310-300). Sophomore Beau Breault (Hartland, Mich.-Hartland) tied for 28th at the weather-shortened event by shooting 150 (74-76), while senior Kyle Rodes (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) finished in the top 60 with a 155 (81-74).
During the 2010 campaign, the Eagles shot a 296 in the final round to capture the 41st Annual Robert Kepler Intercollegiate championship with a 54-hole total of 861 (287-288-286). EMU's two-day, three-round mark shattered the event's previous three-round record of 863 set by Ohio State during the 1998 tournament. However in 2015 Georgia Tech upset that record by shooting a 54-hole total of 848.
Live results throughout the two-day event will be available via Golfstat.com and full results from each day will be available at the end of the day on EMUEagles.com.
