Murphy Continues to Lead EMU After Day Two of Bradley Invite

SARASOTA, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's women's golf team completed day two of the 39th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational Monday, Oct. 24, on Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club's par-72, 6,288-yard Cypress Lakes Course. The team itself is currently in sixth place with score of 20-over after shooting an identical score from day one of 298, while senior Kesley Murphy (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) is pacing the Green and White following a 73 on Monday.
Murphy is even par after two rounds of action, while junior Thelma Beck (Baden, France-Lycee Sainte Anne) also fired a 73, putting her at four-over for the tournament, which ties her in 21st overall. Freshman Maria Connelly (Waterville, Ohio-Anthony Wayne) is currently tied for 25th at five-over following a 75 on day two and sophomore Kritsuda Apiwatthanadol (Bangkok, Thailand-Somtawin Witead Suska Huaymongkhon School) holds a score of 11-over, tying her for 44th with a round two score of 77. Finally, sophomore Penelope Guilleux (Saint Maur Des Fosse, France-Arsonval) posted an 81 on the second day of action and is currently tied for 73rd at 19-over.
The final round of the 39th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational is set for Tuesday, Oct. 25.
