BURLINGTON, Iowa (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team concluded the seventh annual Golfweek Conference Challenge with an 11th place finish at the par 72, 7,223-yard Spirit Hollow Golf Club.The Eagles carded a three-round total of 882 (292-287-303) while host Iowa claimed the first-place finish with a team total of 842 (284-273-285).  North Carolina State grabbed the runner-up by shooting an 845 (269-295-281).

Senior Brett White (Caledonia, Mich.-East Kentwood) paced the Green and White, tying for 21st overall and shooting a three-round total of 215 (68-70-77) while junior Philippe Weppernig (Lucerne, Switzerland-Kantonsschule Alpenquai Luzern-Owens C.C.) tied for 27th overall carding a 217 (73-72-72). The top-25 finish marks the 13th of White's career donning the Green and White.

Kyle Rodes (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) and Nic Ross (Dundas, Ontario-Highland Secondary) each sat at nine-over par for the tournament following identical rounds of 77 on Sunday. Joey Kremer (Toronto, Ontario-Senator O'Connor) rounded out the EMU scoring with a three-day score of 237 (78-77-82) to tie for 72nd.

Iowa's Raymond Knoll and Kansas State's Jeremy Gandon shared the top spot at the tournament  with an 11-under 205.

The Eagles will be back in action Monday, Oct. 5, when they head to the Firestone Intercollegiate in Akron, Ohio
