Men's Track and Field Tunes Up for MAC Championships in Toledo

Eagles make the short trip south leading up to the conference meet

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's men's track and field team will make the short trip to Toledo, Ohio to compete in the final meet leading up to the 2015 Mid-American Conference Championships, taking on the field at the Toledo Invitational Friday, May 8.

Friday's meet willl start on the field with the javelin at 9 a.m., followed by the discus, long jump, high jump, pole vault, and triple jump. On the track, the 1500m run will be the first event contested at 1:10 p.m., with the 110m hurdles, 400m, 3000m steeplechase, 100m, 800m, 400m hurdles, 200m, and 5000m to follow. The meet will conclude with a late afternoon running of the 4x400m relay at 4:50 p.m.
