Thursday, May 28, will see four Eagles in action split between the track and the field. Keith Williams will start things off at noon in the first flight of the hammer throw. In the evening, Donald Scott is slated to compete in the third flight of the long jump, which starts at 7 p.m. Scott has the 22nd-best mark in the region in the event at 7.58 meters/24 feet 10.50-inches, good for sixth on EMU's all-time list. At 7:20 p.m., reigning MAC champion in the 400m Tyler Brown will compete in the sixth heat of the 400m preliminaries, as he holds the 15th-fastest seed time at 46.19 seconds. Should Brown qualify to the quarterfinals, he will compete again on Friday at 6 p.m. The final event for the day will be the 10,000m run at 9 p.m., which will feature Warren Witchell. The redshirt-senior holds the 36th-fastest time in the region and the ninth-fastest in EMU history at 29:36.19.
On Friday, May 29, Ryan Brumfield will kick off action in the high jump at 5 p.m. Brumfield has posted the 30th-highest clearance in the region at 2.09 meters/6 feet 10.25-inches, just missing out on the EMU all-time top-10 list. The evening will cap off with the running of the 3000m steeplechase at 8:50 p.m., in which MAC champion Willy Fink will compete in the third heat. Fink holds the 27th-fastest seed of 8:53.55, and has run a sub-nine-minute time in the event in all three of his appearances this season.
Saturday will begin with the shot put at 5 p.m., in which Williams will represent the Green and White in the first flight. At 6 p.m., action will start on the track with the 4x100m relay. The Eagles jumped up to the 17th-fastest time in the region after breaking the EMU record in 39.95 seconds to win at the MAC Championships thanks to Kevin Snead, Cameron Bolton, Matthew Williams, and Pedro Delgado.
Following the 4x100m, Scott will appear once more in his specialty event in the fourth flight of the triple jump, which begins at 7 p.m. Scott broke his own EMU record this season, posting the third-farthest jump in the region at 16.42 meters/53 feet 10.50-inches.
