Men's Golf to Compete in the NYX Hoosier Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team will travel to Bloomington, Ind., to compete in the NYX Hoosier Invitational, April 11-12. The three-round invitational will be held at the par-71, 6,813-yard IU Golf Course. The first two rounds will be played Saturday with the final round held on Sunday, both days are scheduled to begin with a shotgun start.

Leading Eastern Michigan will be senior Michael Blair (Ancaster, Ontario, Canada-Nelson-Pfeiffer) along with junior Brett White (Caledonia, Mich.-East Kentwood). Freshman Nicholas Ross (Dundas, Ontario, Canada- Highland Secondary), junior Jared Multer (Battle Creek, Mich.-Lakeview-Grand Rapids C.C.) and sophomore Joey Kremer (Toronto, Ontario, Canada-Senator O'Connor) will round out the Eagle line-up. Also taking part in the event will be freshman John Boncoddo (Brantford, Ontario, Canada-St. John's College), who will be playing as an individual.

EMU will be competing in a 17-team field that includes Bradley, Cincinnati, Dayton, Drake, Evansville, IPFW, Illinois State, Indiana, IUPUI, Miami (OH), Oakland, Toledo, Western Illinois, Wisconsin, Xavier and Youngstown State
