Eagles Flock to Volunteer State for Tennessee Relays

Men's track and field will compete in the second meet of the outdoor campaign

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's men's track and field team is set to compete in the 49th Tennessee Relays Powered by Sea Ray this weekend, April 10-11 in Knoxville, Tenn.
This year marks the second consecutive year that the Tennessee Relays will feature a combined collegiate and high school competition, welcoming over 1,750 athletes into the weekend event.
Though the majority of the events will be contested on Friday and Saturday, the meet will open up with the hammer throw on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. From there, the meet will be in full swing for the Eagles on April 10, beginning with the 400m hurdles at 12:30 p.m. on the track while the discus will be the first event on the field at 1 p.m. Friday will end with the 5000m run at 9:45 p.m. before the Green and White resumes action at 12:45 p.m. with the 3000m steeplechase. The 4x400m relay will cap off the meet at 6:15 p.m.
