BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – Junior Jared Multer (Battle Creek, Mich.-Lakeview-Grand Rapids C.C.) carded a three-round 213 (73-69-71) to tie for eighth Sunday, April 12, at the NYX Hoosier Invitational on the at the par-71, 6,813-yard IU Golf Course. Multer, whose previous best was a 27th-place finish last month at the Del Walker Intercollegiate, pieced together rounds of 73, a career-low 69, and 71, tops among Eagle golfers.

As a team, the Eagles finished with a three-round total of 879 (297-285-297). Wisconsin was the wire-to-wire winner with an 853 (286-279-288) as Cincinnati (861), Indiana (867), Oakland (871) and Toledo (872) rounded out the top-five.

Senior Michael Blair (Ancaster, Ontario, Canada-Nelson-Pfeiffer) shot rounds of 75, 71 and 75 for a 37th-place tie with a 221. Sophomore Joey Kremer (Toronto, Ontario, Canada-Senator O'Connor) was just one shot back of Blair with a 222 (75-72-75), while junior Brett White (Caledonia, Mich.-East Kentwood) tied for 50th with a 225 (74-75-76).

Freshman Nicholas Ross (Dundas, Ontario, Canada-Highland Secondary) was 60th overall at 227 (77-73-77) after shooting. Competing as an individual, John Boncoddo (Brantford, Ontario, Canada-St. John's College) rounded out the scoring at 244 (89th), firing a final round 82 Sunday.

Eastern Michigan wraps up the regular season at the Rutherford Invitational, April 18-19, in University Park, Pa.
