Junior finishes sixth in the 100 free on second day of Michigan First Chance Meet

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (EMUEagles.com)—Eastern Michigan University's men's swimming team finished up the 2014-15 regular season campaign leading up to the 2015 Mid-American Conference Championships with one athlete competing on the second day of the Michigan First Chance Meet, Feb. 22.

In the 100 free, Dylan Crompton (Redford, Mich.-Thurston) placed sixth in 46.30 seconds.  Crompton's time marked a career record for the junior, and it is the third personal best he has had at the meet after shaving time in both the 50 and 200 free yesterday.

Eastern will have two weeks off before taking on the conference at the 2015 MAC Swimming and Diving Championships Wednesday through Saturday, March 4-7.  The Eagles will head to Geneva, Ohio to square off with MAC opponents at the SPIRE Institute.
