CARMEL, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team sits in ninth place after posting a team score of 613 (314-299) during the opening day of the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate at Crooked Stick Golf Club. Freshman Beau Breault (Howell, Mich.-Hartland) is tied for 20th place following rounds of 75 and 76.
Illinois holds down the top spot on the leaderboard with a 36-hole tally of 576 (297-279) following by Purdue (585), Kentucky (590) and Duke (591).
The third and final round is schedule for Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 9 a.m.
