The Eagles shot a 604 (301-303) and sit in 12th overall after two rounds

COLUMBUS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team is currently in 12th-place overall at the Ohio State University Robert Kepler Intercollegiate at the par-71, 7,455-yard OSU Golf Club's Scarlet Course Saturday, April 12.
 
After the first two rounds of action, EMU shot a 604 (301-303) as a team, while Georgia Tech led the 15-team field with a 572 (281-291) and UAB sits in second overall with a 576 (284-292). Liberty rounds out the top three, shooting a 581 (288-293).
 
Junior Michael Blair (Ancaster, Ontario, Canada-Nelson (Pfeiffer)) led the Green and White with a 145 (72-73) tying for 16th overall, while senior Brian Churchill-Smith (Oakville, Ontario, Canada-Oakville Trafalgar) and freshman Joey Kremer (Toronto, Ontario, Canada-Senator O'Connor) shot matching 152s through the first two rounds of action.
 
Sophomore Brett White (Caledonia, Mich.-East Kentwood) carded a 155 (79-76) and freshman Kyle Rodes (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) rounded out the EMU scoring with a 160 (83-77).
 
Kent State leads all Mid-American Conference teams, while Eastern is leading both Ball State and Miami.
 
The Eagles will be back in action Sunday, April 13, to conclude the final round of the three-round event.
