Eagles Open Up Outdoor Season in Cincinnati

Men's track and field to compete in Oliver Nikoloff Invitational

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's men's track and field team will open up the outdoor season as a team at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, March 28-29, hosted by the University of Cincinnati.
The Eagles will send 20 athletes to Cincinnati to compete, emphasizing events that were not conducted indoors such as the 400m hurdles, hammer and javelin throw, and steeplechase. The meet will feature athletes from numerous institutions, including seven schools on the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason rankings as Air Force, Butler, Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky, Marquette, and Mid-American Conference opponent Miami will be in showing along with host school Cincinnati.
Information regarding the meet will be available through gobearcats.com, where results will be updated on an hourly basis.
