Competing against some of the region's best golfers, the Orangeville, Ontario, Canada native carded a 74 in the final round to finish with a 224 (75-75-74).

There will be 15 teams in the field for the 2013 Mary Fossum Invitational, including East Tennessee State, Ferris State, Florida International, Indiana, Louisiana-Monroe, Miami (Fla.), Michigan State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oakland, Ohio State, Oregon, Toledo and Western Michigan.

The course will be set up as a par-72, playing to a distance of 6,236 yards. Live scoring will be available at www.golfstat.com, and play will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the second round following directly afterward. Sunday's final round will start at 8:30 a.m. All rounds will be a shotgun start.

The Eagles have competed in the event 12 times since the 1998-99 campaign. EMU's best finish came in the 2011-12 season when the Green and White finished in eighth place with a 54-hole mark of 942 (304-317-321).

The Eagles return five student-athletes from last year's team including senior Corey Crossan (London, Ontario, Canada-Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School), senior Usanee Laopattananont (Bangplee, Thailand-Thai Christian School), senior Rushda Mallick (Cape Town, South Africa-Glenwood House-Cape Peninsula University of Technology), redshirt junior Lois Schoof (Amsterdam, Netherlands-Univ. of Amsterdam) and redshirt sophomore  Karyn Lee Ping (Brampton, Ontario, Canada-St. Augustine Secondary School)

Joining Eastern Michigan will be freshmen Brenna Hammond (West Bloomfield, Mich.-Detroit Mercy) and Kelsey Murphy (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) and junior Sylvie Williams (Christchurch, New Zealand-Lincoln). Meanwhile, junior Lauren Stephens (Dublin, Ohio-Coffman-Toledo) will also be a part of the team but must sit out the 2013-14 year after transferring from within the Mid-American Conference.
