Men's Golf Adds the Detroit Golf Club Invitational

EMU will play against Bowling Green, Dayton, Michigan, Toledo and Xavier
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – After enduring through just one round at the weather-shortened C&F Bank Intercollegiate, March 24-26, the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team returns to the links Friday, April 12, for the Detroit Golf Club Invitational. The 36-hole tournament co-hosted by Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo will take place at the Detroit Golf Club.
The one-day tournament will take place on the DGC's North and South courses. The North Course will be played at a par 72 for a total of 6,936 yards for the first round while the South Course will be setup as a par 68 with a distance of 5,967 yards for the final round. Additionally, the format will feature six players on each team five counting in the team total. Each squad will also be allowed an individual player as well.
Competing will be the University of Dayton, the University of Toledo, Xavier University, the University of Michigan, Bowling Green State University and EMU.
EMU will tee off at 9:33 a.m. with the second round to immediately follow the first round.
Live scoring will not be available, but complete results will be available on EMUEagles.com following the conclusion of play.
