Eagles get to race in three events before it was cancelled due severe weather conditions
SPRING LAKE, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's rowing team had to battle cold, blustery conditions on Spring Lake at the 18th Annual Lubbers Cup. As the day progressed conditions worsened prompting the event to be cancelled after the Eagles had already participated in the Novice Eight, 1st Varsity 8 and 1st Varsity 8 races.
EMU was joined at the event by Grand Valley State University, the University of Kansas and the University of Illinois.
