Hanson’s First Race in the Books at NCAA Championships

EMU swimmer finishes 32nd in the 200 yard medley

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University swimmer Jacob Hanson (Bloomington, Ill. - Normal Community) competed his first-of-three races at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship at IU Natatorium and IUPUI Sports Complex, March 28. Hanson finished 32nd in the preliminaries of the 200 yard individual medley, touching the wall in 1:45.75.
The Bloomington, Ill. native will swim in two more events at the national championships, beginning tomorrow, March 29, with the 100 yard backstroke before jumping in pool Saturday, March 30, for his final race, the 200 yard backstroke.
