20th-year Head Coach Bruce Cunningham takes team to 14-team intercollegiate
ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team opens its fall season this weekend, Sept. 15-16, at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate at the Wolf Run Golf Club in Zionsville, Ind. The first and second rounds will be played on Saturday, Sept. 15. The final round of the Wolf Run Intercollegiate will be held on Sunday.
EMU is one of four Mid-American Conference teams at the Intercollegiate, which includes: Akron, Miami and Northern Illinois. The field features 14 teams from six collegiate conferences.
This is the Eagles first appearance at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate since the 2009-10 campaign,. That year, the Green and White notched an 11th place finish with an 892 (296-297-299 at the event. Additionally, Cam Burke picked up his third career top 10 finish after carding a 217 (73-70-74) to tie for 10th place.
