YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football program has announced the dates for its 2012 football summer camps.
A one day camp will be offered Sunday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 27. The Seven-on-Seven Tournament and Big Man Camp will take place Saturday, June 16. All camps will be held at Eastern Michigan University at Rynearson Stadium.
This camp is only for students who will be enrolled in high school during the fall of 2012.
Our camps are one-day non-contact camps that stress teaching fundamentals and technique. Our primary objective focuses on quality instruction for each and every player in a fun atmosphere. We hope to teach skills to make better football players and hope to stimulate interest in the Eastern Michigan Football Program.
Check –in and registration will open at 9 a.m. The camps will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). Fees include position-specific coaching points from Eastern Michigan's coaching staff, and 1-on-1 and 7-on-7 competition against some of the best talent in the state of Michigan and surrounding Midwestern states.
Eastern Michigan's Head Coach, Ron English will oversee and speak at the camps. These camps promise to be days filled with teaching, instruction, competition and fun. Eastern Michigan's Football Camps are open to any and all entrants.
