YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics proudly inducted former football standout Dylan Drummond into the Football Ring of Honor Friday, April 17, prior to the Spring Game at Rynearson Stadium.

To be included in the Ring of Honor, individuals must have either earned All-American honors from a major publication or played in an official National Football League game.

Drummond spent five seasons with the Eagles from 2018 through 2022, appearing in 52 games and finishing his EMU career with 183 receptions for 2,028 yards and 14 touchdowns. He earned third-team All-MAC honors in 2019, was named a MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete, and collected Academic All-MAC recognition. In 2021, he led the team with six touchdown catches while hauling in 64 passes for 704 yards. He followed that with a strong senior season in 2022, starting all 10 games and adding 33 receptions for 525 yards and three scores.

Drummond reached the National Football League, spending time with the Detroit Lions, New York Giants, and Atlanta Falcons. His pro career includes 10 games played, seven receptions, and 110 kickoff return yards.

Dummond joins a distinguished group of 56 EMU legends whose names are already displayed at the top of Rynearson Stadium. The Ring of Honor, originally dedicated during the 2003 Homecoming game against Western Michigan, was updated in 2023 with new 20-inch tall vinyl lettering.
