DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) -- After two rounds at the Spring Break Championship, hosted by Florida Atlantic University, the Eagles are in 16th place. Eastern Michigan University shot a 305 in the second round of the 54-hole invitational at Gleneagles Country Club.

Ohio State remains in the lead with a 17-under par 559, and extended its lead over DePaul to 16 strokes. Nebraska is in third at 579.

Two players are tied for the individual lead with identical scores. Both DePaul's Moritz Ackerhans and Michigan State's Chris Mory shot a 69-69=138 over the first two rounds.

Nick Carbary (Kalamazoo, Mich.-Mattawan) and Casey Olsen (Okemos, Mich.-Okemos-Oakland University) lead the Eagles at nine-over par in a tie for 58th place. Carbary posted a 73 while Olsen carded a 78 for a two day total of 153. The duo is followed by Adam Winwood (Epping, Essex, UK-St. Johns-South Mountain CC), who shot a 13-over par 157 (79-78) and is in 73rd. Derek East (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada-St. Paul's-University of New Orleans) is tied for 74th after posting a 14-over par 158 (82-76). Round out the lineup, Zach MacDougall (Coquitlam, British Columbia-Centennial) shot rounds of 98 and 83 for a 181 in 91st place.

The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Sunday, starting at 8 a.m.
