EMU Athletics Hall of Famer Jeff Reaume Dies Suddenly

Was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Former Eastern Michigan University men's golf All-American and Athletic Hall of Fame member Jeff Reaume died suddenly, June 11, 2010. He was 59 years old.
Reaume was an outstanding golfer who won several high school, college and state titles and competed in three USGA Amateur events. He was a five-time club champion at Washtenaw Country Club. While at Eastern Michigan University, Jeff was a two time NCAA All American. In 2008 he was inducted into the Eastern Michigan Athletic Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his loving wife Claudette (Stumbo), stepdaughter, Renee Newsome, stepson, Chad (Ashli) Tallent, grandchildren, Breann, Chad II and Peter. Jeff's sister, Angela (Dave) Larson, his brother Frank (Candace) Reaume, nieces and nephews Marc and Jeff Reaume, Megan (Aaron) Hendricks, Kari and Stefan Larson, Laura Reaume, Alexa and Payton Hendricks also survive.
Visitation at Nie Family Funeral Home Carpenter Road Chapel, 2400 Carpenter Road in Ann Arbor, is from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 14, with funeral services set for Tuesday, June 15, at 1 p.m.
