EMU Adds Game Versus Canisius To Finalize Basketball Schedule

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University has finalized the 2010-11 women's basketball schedule with the addition of a home game against Canisius College Saturday, Dec. 11, Head Coach AnnMarie Gilbert announced Thursday, Nov. 4. The Eagles and Golden Griffins will be the second leg of a doubleheader, with the EMU men's basketball team taking on the University of Detroit Mercy beginning at 2 p.m.
The Green and White are now scheduled to play 30 regular season games, 14 non-conference and 16 Mid-American Conference games.
EMU opens the 2010-11 campaign with a non-conference tilt Friday, Nov. 12, versus Loyola University-Chicago. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Convocation Center. Veteran broadcaster Dan Gutowsky will have the call on Eagle All-Access beginning at 6:55 p.m.
