Gymnastics Claims Victory at Seattle Pacific

James and Grigg post solid marks to lead EMU.
SEATTLE
The Eagles improve to 5-6 with the victory, while the Falcons drop to 1-7 with the loss.
James and Grigg each posted stellar marks on the vault to start things off, as James carded a career-best 9.800, while Grigg tied a career-best with a 9.825. Grigg also tallied a 9.700 on the bars, a 9.650 on the balance beam and a 9.800 on the floor to finish with a meet-best all-around score of 38.975. Besides a second place finish on the balance beam, Grigg placed first in every event against the Falcons.
Freshman Stacie Wood (Brantford, Ontario-Brantford Collegiate Inst.) tied a career-best mark on the floor when she tallied a 9.725 to finish tied for third place with SPU's Brittany Malone.
