Nick Carbary tied for 11th after play suspended in second round

GLENCOE, Ill. (EMUEagles.com) – Junior Nick Carbary (Kalamazoo, Mich.-Mattawan) is tied for 11th place after the first day of play Sunday, Oct. 4, at the 13th Windon Memorial Classic at Skokie Country Club. Play was suspended Sunday night due to darkness with all groups needing to finish at least one hole when competition resumes Monday morning.
Carbary is five-over par with three holes to play in the second round after firing a five-over 76 in the opening 18 holes and currently standing at one-under par in the second. He leads a Eastern Michigan University contingent that is in fourthplace at 21-over par. The Eagles fired a 296 in the morning and are at 233 as a team in the evening round.
Play will continue at 8:30 a.m. CT Monday morning as a shotgun start. Once players complete their second round, the same pairs will move to the next hole and begin their final rounds contiguous to the second.
