DuBois Named MAC Track Athlete of the Week

Junior won the 800 meters at the Akron Open.
CLEVELAND, Ohio-- Eastern Michigan University's Jake DuBois (Jackson, Mich.-Jackson) took home Mid-American Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors, for the week ending Feb. 3, as announced by the conference office today.
DuBois was singled out after continuing his dominance in the 800 meters, winning the Gold Division at the Akron Open in an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 1:50.27. The win ranks him 11th all-time in EMU track history and in the top 10 in the country this season.
The Eagles will travel to the University of Notre Dame Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8-9 to participate in the Meyo Invitational.
