Mike Glass III is in his first year as an offensive assistant and is a former standout quarterback from St. Louis, Mo.

A 2019 team captain at Eastern Michigan University, Glass led the Eagles to the Quick Lane Bowl and earned Second Team All-MAC honors that season. He set EMU single-season records for total offense, passing touchdowns, and completions while leading the Mid-American Conference with 299.8 yards of total offense per game. Nationally, he ranked among the top 25 in multiple categories, including completion percentage (66.3%) and passing yards per game (264.1).

Glass began his collegiate career at Fort Scott and Southwestern Community Colleges before transferring to EMU in 2018, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communication in 2019. He played professionally for the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats during the 2023 season.

Glass most recently served as the quarterbacks coach at Washington University in St. Louis, where the 2024 offense averaged 439.7 yards and 39.8 points per game. Prior to that, he served as an offensive graduate assistant working with the tight ends at the University of Dayton in 2021.

He is married to former EMU women’s basketball standout Courtnie (Lewis) Glass.
