Rounding out the volunteer assistant coaches is Taylor Knoll, who graduated from Eastern Michigan following an impressive career for the Green and White.

As an Eagle, Knoll primarily ran mid-distance and distance, holding personal bests in the 800m and 1500m of 2:08.71 and 4:25.11, respectively.  She also maintains the 10th-fastest mile time in program history, clocking in at 4:53.45. Knoll earned All-MAC First Team honors multiple times throughout her career as an Eagle, with one of the selections coming after running a leg of the EMU and Mid-American Conference meet record-breaking DMR that clocked in at 11:29.96.


Before joining the Eagles, Knoll ran for Lansing Community College, where she was an All-American in cross country, as well as track and field for the 800m relay. Knoll hails from Warren, Mich., where she was a four-year letter winner in cross country and track for Mott. She also has five brothers and nine sisters, one of which is currently on the team at EMU. Knoll is currently pursuing her master's degree at EMU.

"Taylor is a perfect example of someone who really thrived in our program once she was surrounded by other strong runners," stated head coach Sue Parks. "She is an incredibly hard worker and a tough competitor, and we're pleased to have her continue with our program as she pursues a graduate degree."
