Pitched in five games this season, starting two contests…Threw five innings of no-hit ball against Western Kentucky (Feb. 18), while striking out eight batters picking up her first win of the season…Earned second win of the year in 3 and 2/3 innings of work from the bullpen in a come-from-behind victory against Detroit (March 29)…Totaled 19 and 2/3 innings with a 2-1 record, while striking out 13 batters…2005: Pitched just 2 and 2/3 innings on the season due to an injury...2004: Appeared in 18 games, recording 10 starts on the season...Became a reliable starter by season’s end...Compiled a team percentage best 5-4 record...Picked up first career win March 6 versus Cleveland State, scattering just two hits and one earned run in three innings of work in EMU’s 12-1 mercy...Followed it up with another win over the Vikings one day later, giving up two hits and two earned runs to get to 2-1 on the season...Third win came in a complete game effort at Detroit (April 6), allowing five hits in EMU’s 12-0 shutout...Picked up fourth win of the season versus Ohio (May 5), going 3 and 1/3 innings with three hits in EMU’s sweep of the Bobcats...Got the decision in EMU’s 6-5 upset over No. 2 Florida State, holding the Seminoles to just one hit and one earned run in 1 and 2/3 innings of relief...High school: Four-year varsity letterwinner at Dowagiac...As a freshman, was an All-Conference selection...Named to the All-District team as a sophomore...Wrapped up her senior year by earning All-State honors...Personal: Daughter of Steve and Cindy Tomczak...Has a sister, Elizabeth...Born: 6-16-85...
