Ian Moini is a 2020 graduate of the University of North Carolina where he competed in cross country and track. The Princeton, N.J. native's list of personal-bests as a Tar Heel includes a 25:03.1 clip in the 8K, and a 8:21.82 time in the indoor 3000m run. Prior to his time in Chapel Hill, N.C., Moini was a five-time New Jersey Prep indoor state champion at Pennington High School. Meanwhile, in the outdoor season he captured the state title in the 800m and 1600m races. During his high school career, Moini served as captain of the cross country and track & field teams as an upperclassmen and holds the school record in the 800m, 1600m, mile, and 3200m.
