Nick Holeton enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Eastern Michigan football program.

Holeton arrives in Ypsilanti after a two year stay on the coaching staff at Lawrence Technological University. There he served as the offensive line coach as a graduate assistant, along with acting as the community service coordinator. In 2018, the Blue Devils posted a 5-3 record as a NAIA Independent in the program's first year back with football since 1946.

Prior to joining Lawrence Tech, Holeton spent three seasons at Loras College (2014-16), under the guidance of Steve Helminiak. He worked with the Duhawks' running backs, hybrids and tight ends.

Holeton played offensive line at Loras from 2009-12. He started 30 games for the Duhawks and was a team captain his senior year. Holeton was named second team all-conference in 2012 and was selected to play in the Tazon de Estrella All-Star Game (D3 All-Stars vs. Mexico All-Stars and won 32-15).

Holeton earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science from Loras College in 2012.
