YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football program will hold its annual Youth Day Saturday, Aug. 8, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. inside Rynearson Stadium. The opportunity is designed for youth to connect with members of the 2026 football team and participate in drills.

The team will go through a busy Saturday schedule at "The Factory". EMU will practice in the morning before hosting Youth Day, which is designed for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The event is open to the public, and there is no admission charge. Please register in advance at https://emufootballcamps.totalcamps.com/shop/product/648904.

Kids will have the opportunity to come down onto the gray turf and experience the joy of running around in a safe, fun environment while learning a few things about football. EMU players will interact with and encourage their new friends throughout the event.

Youth Day is an event introduced by Head Coach Chris Creighton in 1997, when he first arrived at Ottawa University. Its purpose is to give area children an opportunity to visit with the Eagles' student-athletes while enjoying football-related fun and games.

As excitement continues to build around the 2026 season, fans will have multiple opportunities to experience Eastern Michigan football in ways that extend beyond the action on the field. Whether attending for the traditions, themed entertainment, rivalry matchups, or championship aspirations, every game offers a chance to experience the energy and pride that define The Factory.

Season ticket holders receive access to all five games at Rynearson Stadium, as well as the Motor City MACtion matchup against Central Michigan at Ford Field. Ticket packages remain among the most affordable entertainment options in Southeast Michigan, offering significant savings compared to single-game pricing. Of note, E-Club and Kids Club memberships do not include admission to the Ford Field game. E-Club and Kids Club members who wish to attend the Motor City MACtion matchup must purchase tickets separately.

Fans seeking an elevated experience can choose from a variety of premium seating options, including Suites and Loge Tables, which offer additional comfort and hospitality. The Ultimate Fan Chairback package delivers premium midfield seating, VIP parking, and extra legroom, while Reserved and General Admission options offer flexibility for individuals, families, and groups.

Tickets are available now and can be purchased online at EMUEagles.com/tickets, by calling 734.487.3669, or by visiting the EMU Ticket Office in person.
