Lacrosse Places 14 on Academic All-MAC Ledger

Eastern has added 14 names for the second consecutive year

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference announced its annual Academic All-MAC honors for lacrosse today, June 3, with 14 Eastern Michigan student-athletes earning recognition for their academic and athletic achievement. It marks the second consecutive year the Eagles have placed 14 individuals on the list.
 
To earn recognition, a student-athlete must be a sophomore athletically and academically, maintain at least a 3.20 grade-point average, and have competed in at least 50 percent of the team's competitions in the given season. Overall, 82 student-athletes from across the league were honored in 2025 with Kent State University leading the way with 17 honorees and the Eagles just behind with 14. As a program, the Eagles saw two players earn their third career honors from the MAC while eight garnered their second and four their first.
 
Both Tracy Grollman (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis Area Christian School) and Avery Schwab (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin-Scioto) collected their third awards after being honored previously in both 2023 and 2024. The eight individuals earning their second awards included Abby Alderman (Lusby, Md./Patuxent), Amber Alderman (Lusby, Md./Patuxent), Caitlin Beahm (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North), Mackenzie Blackwell (North Beach, Md./Northern), Samantha Borgert (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeast), Kyleigh Dill (Dover, Del./Dover), Haley Hodak (Severn, Md./Old Mill), and Annika Wozney (Elk River, Minn./Elk River). The four newcomers to the list included Roya Khaleeli (Rancho Palo Verdes, Calif./Palos Verdes Peninsula), Karly Low (Owen Sound, Ontario/Owen Sound District Secondary), Kendall Nagle (Sudlersville, Md./Queen Anne's County), and Maddie Porter (Montrose, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson).
