Both the men’s and women’s teams led the conference in All-MAC student-athletes

– The Mid-American Conference announced 26 Eastern Michigan University track & field student-athletes garnered All-MAC honors following the 2025 MAC Outdoor Championships (May 15-17), as the conference announced its postseason specialty award winners Thursday, May 22.
 
The list saw a total of 25 Eagles named as both the men's and women's teams led the conference in All-MAC student-athletes as the men's team landed 15 on the list and the women posted 10.

The EMU women's 10 All-MAC nods are its most since at least 2005 and mark just the second time since then where one team posted double-digit all-conference honors. The honor team was the 2008 Akron Zips who set the MAC Outdoor Championships record for most points by a winning team with 208.50. 
 
The Eastern men's 11 first-team student-athletes are the most from the outdoor season in the conference since the Akron men placed 13 on the list in the 2019 season while their 15 total all-conference nods are the most since the Zips posted 18 total in 2019 as well. For the EMU men's program, its most since at least the 2006 season.
 
To qualify for the first team, a student-athlete needed to finish first in at least one event at the 2025 outdoor conference championships. A minimum of one second-place showings is required for the second team.
 
Eastern saw a total of 15 MAC champions land on the first team. From the men, Bamidele Ajayi (Eikiti State, Nigeria/Metropolitan International College/Lenoir-Rhyne) (4x400m), Shelton Bass (Warner Robbins, Ga./Houston County/Alderson Broaddus) (4x100m, 4x400m), Mill Coleman III (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Catholic Central) (4x100m), Lachlan Cornelius (Queensland, Brisbane, Australia/Anglican Church Grammar School) (800m), George Gage (Pontiac, Mich./Avondale) (4x100m), Solomon King (Toledo, Ohio/Central Catholic/Davenport) (4x100m), Jake McEachern (Lloydminster, Alberta/Lloydminster Comprehensive) (hammer throw), Olawole Olanrewaju (Akoko North-West, Nigeria/Wallas Universal Secondary School/Lenoir-Rhyne) (4x400m), Tajay Roberts (Dillard, Fla./Sunrise) (4x400m), Gabe Singh (Toledo, Ohio/Sylvania Northview/Oakland) (400m hurdles), and Kian Wiles (Hull, England/St. Mary's College) (1500m) grabbed the accolade.
 
For the Eastern women, champions Demetria Henderson (Tampa, Fla./Freedom) (4x400m), Sofia Ivanko (Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Matthew's College) (10,000m), Josephine Oloye (Iwaro-Oka, Nigeria/Geomi Secondary School/Tayelolu Memorial) (4x400m), and Saraiah Walkes (Manatee County, Fla./The-Out-of-Door-Academy) (100m, 200m, 4x400m) ran to a first-team nod.
 
Eastern's women led the EMU programs with five second-team accolades as Alimot Alowonle (Lagos, Nigeria/Tindip College/New Orleans) (4x100m), Ajah Arscott (Plantation, Fla./Taravella) (4x100m), Kyra Buffen (Columbus, Ga./Buford/Benedict) (triple jump), Jaeden Garraway (4x100m), and Micah Martin (Clinton Township, Mich./L'Anse Creuse) (high jump) secured the decoration.
 
Earning second-team distinction from the men was Brendan Hill (Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne) (high jump), Samuel Jeffery (Fonthill, Ontario/E.L. Crossely Secondary) (decathlon), Drew Knieper (Lake Orion, Mich./Lake Orion/Hope) (javelin), and Formula Thompson (St. Catherine, Jamaica/Jamaica College/Nebraska) (triple jump).
