Eighteen Swim & Dive Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

Eastern’s 18 student-athletes on the list stand as the fifth most in the conference
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University swim & dive team saw 18 student-athletes earn Academic All-MAC honors as the Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced a total of 158 women's swimming and diving student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 Women's Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC Team Monday, March 31.
Eastern's 18 student-athletes on the list stand as the fifth most in the conference.
The Miami RedHawks led the way with 33 student-athletes on this year's team, while Bowling Green (21), Buffalo (21), and Ohio (20) had over 20 student-athletes represented on this year's list. The conference office saw 26 student-athletes post a perfect 4.0 GPA, with eight of them from the Falcons' roster.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
Eighteen Eagles qualified for the prestigious honor as Olivia Clarino (Toronto, Ontario/Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute), Anya Ferner (Kent, Ohio/Roosevelt/Denison), Ashley George (Waukesha. Wis./Waukesha South), Sophie Gatrall (Windsor, Ontario/Tecumseh Vista Academy), Ali Kudo (Guelph, Ontario/John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational), Nina Larosa (Bay Village, Ohio/Bay), Emma Littrell (Taylor Mill, Ky./St. Henry District), Malia Maire (San Luis Obispo, Calif./San Luis Obispo), Cate Migliori (Stockton, Calif./San Joaquin Delta College), Tristen Mina (Santa Clara, Calif./The King's Academy), Lucy Noble (Flagler Beach, Fla.
