YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University basketball teams are ready for a festive night of hoops at the George Gervin GameAbove Center Friday, Dec. 5. Come out and celebrate with the first basketball doubleheader of the season, starting with the women against Defiance College at 5 p.m. and the men to follow at 7:30 p.m. against Cleary University.
To ring in the holidays and support our community, EMU Athletics is hosting our Second Annual Winter Clothes Drive. Fans who donate one new or gently used winter clothing item will receive one free ticket to the game. It's an easy way to give back, and the perfect way to make an impact while cheering on the Eagles.
All donated items will directly support local charities and help keep Ypsilanti families warm this winter. Drop off your contribution when you arrive, then get ready to enjoy a full night of EMU basketball.
