EMU Announces Women’s Golf Leadership Change

A national search for a new women’s golf head coach will begin immediately

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee announced today, April 25, that Head Women's Golf Coach Stephanie Jennings' contract would not be renewed.
 
"We are grateful for Coach Jennings's six years of dedicated service and efforts on behalf of the women's golf program, I wish her and her family the best in her future endeavors", said Wetherbee. "With a new world-class training facility for our golf teams, I look forward to finding a dynamic leader that will lead us to a Mid-American Conference Championship."

An EMU alum who was part of the first recruiting class in program history, Jennings returned to her alma mater in 2018 and completed her sixth season as head women's golf coach in 2023-24. She led Eastern to six team victories and oversaw 17 golfers earn Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar honors.
