(EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University's Department of Athletcs will be featured on a special television feature on CBS Detroit highlighting the remarkable journey of EMU's Women's Basketball Head Coach Sahar Nusseibeh. Scheduled to air for the first time Thursday, April 18, at 7 p.m. EST, this program promises an inspiring look into Coach Nusseibeh's historic appointment as EMU's first Palestinian Head Coach.

EMU Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee announced the hiring of Nusseibeh as head coach of the women's basketball program, March 28. A rising star with three seasons of experience as a Division I head coach, Nusseibeh arrived in Ypsilanti with an extensive coaching resume which includes a pair of stops as an assistant coach within the Mid-American Conference.
