Signing Day: Lacrosse Adds 11 for the 2026 Season

First-year Head Coach Maddie Dugan has announced her first additions to the program
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University lacrosse program has announced the addition of 11 newcomers for the 2025-26 academic year, Head Coach Maddie Dugan announced, Nov. 18. The class, the first signed by Dugan, will enroll in August 2025 and is eligible to play in the 2026 season.
"We are thrilled to welcome this strong and talented class to Eastern Michigan," Dugan said. "Their commitment, work ethic, and passion for lacrosse will be invaluable assets to the team. As they join our program, we look forward to seeing their contributions both on and off the field."
The incoming members of the program represent seven states, including two each from Illinois and Texas and one each from Michigan, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, and Ohio. The group is also represented by two Canadian provinces (British Columbia and Ontario). All told, the 11 newcomers cover all four areas of the field including one goalie, two defenders, six midfielders, and two attackers.
The newcomers include goalie Emma Baker (Towson, Md./Notre Dame Preparatory), defenders Emma Reichert (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) and Paige Sutton (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson), midfielders Ashley Culin (LaGrange, Ill./Lyons Township), Christie Evans (Peterborough, Ontario/St. Peter's Secondary), Reagan Morrison (Cypress, Texas/Cy-Fair), Ainsley Owens (Minneapolis, Minn./Wayzata), Ashley Poquette (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North), and Ella Toth (Brighton, Mich./Brighton) and both Zola LeDonne (New Westminster, BC/New Westminster Secondary) and Brooke Sganga (Southlake, Texas/Carroll Senior) in attack.
Along with their impressive backgrounds in lacrosse that include numerous all-state, all-region, all-district, and all-conference teams, six of the newcomers also excelled in others sports, including basketball, tennis, soccer, rugby, and alpine ski racing.
The current members of the team have their eyes set on Feb. 9, 2025, when the Eagles play host to the Aztecs of San Diego State University in the first game of the 2025 campaign. The game is set for noon and will be played at the EMU Indoor Practice Facility on campus.
