Last Time Out
The Eagles most recently competed at the SVSU Open & Multis meet hosted by Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Mich., and Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Opener in Boston, Mass. All told, the Eagles came away with numerous strong marks, including 13 victories, 41 personal-bests, and five marks that stand among the all-time top 10 in program history.

In Saginaw, Eastern throwers excelled as Miranda Cadwell (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) kicked off the historic performances in the shot put with her heave of 14.70m (48-02.75), a mark that ranks third in EMU history. Fellow thrower Isabella Brent (Dearborn Heights, Mich./Divine Child) would also etch her name into the EMU top 10 in the weight throw with her toss of 15.91m (52-02.50), a mark that ranks ninth in EMU history.

Finally, freshman Ryan Johnson (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) would cap the top 10 outings at Saginaw. Not only would Johnson win the weight throw with a best of 20.85m (68-05.00), he also wrote his name in the all-time top 10 record book at No. 6.

In Boston, Eastern's distance runners Paige Marchant (London, Ontario/Catholic Central) and Esme Davies (Lake District, England/Queen Elizabeth Grammar School) continued their success from the cross country season as the duo recorded all-time top 10 marks in the long distance events, including Marchant running 9:23.90 to rank sixth all-time in the 3,000m run while Davies clocked in at 16:23.06 for the fifth-fastest time in EMU history in the 5,000m run.
