HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team opens the 2022-23 season at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational hosted by Marshall University, Sept. 12-13. The tournament will take place on the par 71, 6,523 yard Guyan Golf & Country Club.
The 15-team tournament will feature Appalachian State, Bellarmine, Belmont, Butler, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Dayton, EMU, Longwood, Marshall, Morehead State, Mount St. Mary's, Northern Kentucky, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Youngstown State.
Head Coach Bruce Cunningham will use the lineup of freshman Ryan Somerville (Aurora, Ontario-Aurora), freshman Logan Graf (Sylvan Lake, Alberta-HJ Cody), junior Patrick Deardorff (Clarkston, Mich.-Clarkston), senior Cam Kellett (London, Ontario-Saint Thomas Aquinas-Nevada), and freshman Victor Caliguri (Cincinnati, Ohio-Elder). Also getting their first taste of collegiate play, freshmen Cooper Eberle (Richmond Ky.-Madison Central) and Sam Yono II (West Bloomfield, Mich.-Brother Rice) will play as individuals.
