9/15/2021 12:29:00 PM | Tennis, General
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis program is set to host its first fall competition of the year at the Chippewa Club Friday, Sept. 17 - Saturday, Sept. 18. The EMU Hidden Duals tournament will feature Bellarmine University, Northern Kentucky University, and Oakland University. The tournament is scheduled to begin Friday at 1 p.m. and continues Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
The Green and White did not see fall competition in the 2020-21 year due to COVID-19 and the gradual return to play. During the 2021 spring schedule, the Eagles finished 10-17 overall and 1-13 in Mid-American Conference play. The squad has six returning letterwinners, and has added freshmen Sabina Brichakova (Cheb, Czech Republic-Gymnaszium Jana Blahoslava) and Prerna Vichare (Mumbai, India-Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics), as well as redshirt freshman transfer Asia Allen (Sanford, Fla.-Seminole (Rio Grande Valley)).
Results will be made available post match. Keep up with everything EMU tennis by visiting EMUEagles.com or follow us on Twitter (@EMUEaglesTennis), or Instagram (@EMU_Tennis).
