Eastern Rowing Set to Host Learn to Row Camp

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team will host a Learn to Row Camp Wednesday, August 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Ypsilanti, Head Coach Kemp Savage announced today, July 13. 
 
The camp is geared toward any and all high school female athletes in grades 11 and 12 with no prior rowing experience. Athletes will be taught by, and get to know, the Eastern Michigan Rowing coaching staff. The first half of their day will focus on learning how to row, first on a rowing machine. The second half of the day will be spent on Ford Lake learning how to row on the water. The registration fee is $100 and will include lunch.
