Berger Garners Second-Straight MAC Diver of the Week Accolade

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan University senior diver Bethany Berger (Batavia, Ohio-Glen Este) was named Mid-American Conference Diver of the Week, the league office announced today, Nov. 18.
The weekly award is Berger's fifth of her career and second of the 2021-22 season. The accolade is the second-straight week Berger has earned the distinction, winning the award last week for her performance against Akron, Nov. 6
In the Eagles' dual meet with Oakland, Nov. 12, Berger swept both diving events for a consecutive week, earning a score of 287.63 in the 3-meter, and a score of 298.05 in the 1-meter. The score of 298.05 is the highest a diver has scored for EMU on the 2021-22 season.
Berger and the Eagles will travel to Granville, Ohio to compete in the Denison Invitational, Dec. 2-4, hosted by Denison University.
