Soccer Cannot Mount Comeback in Loss to Ohio

The Eagles will complete the weekend with Kent State, Oct. 24, for EMU's Senior Day
ATHENS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University soccer team dropped its final road match of the season at Ohio University, 2-1, Thursday, Oct. 21, at Chessa Field.
The loss drops the Eagles' overall record to 2-11-3 and their Mid-American Conference record to 1-6-2 on the season.
How It Happened
43' | Right before the half, freshman Lexy Alston (Amherst, Ohio-Marion L. Steele) played a ball right in front of the box where fellow freshman Jamie Lefebvre (London, Ontario-A.B. Lucas Secondary) scored into the left side of the net for the forward's second collegiate goal.
50' | Five minutes into the second half, Ohio's Haley Miller netted the equalizer with a hard shot into the top of the net off of a loose ball in the box.
72' | The Bobcats when net the deciding-goal on a header into the top left corner of the net from Shae Robertson

» Lefebvre scored her second-career goal as an Eagle.
