YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan Athletics applauds the accomplishments of rowing's senior class, including MacKenzie Geisler (Mount Horeb, Wis.-Mount Horeb), Hannah Taylor (Brooklyn, Mich.-Columbia Central), and Breanna Wirth (Southgate, Mich.-Southgate Anderson). Geisler competed in four races as a member of the Novice Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Third Varsity Eight, and Varsity Four boats during her time at EMU.  In her senior season, she competed as a member of the Second Varsity Eight at the Head of the Hooch and in the First Varsity Four boat against Alabama and Southern Methodist. She was a member of the Third Varsity Eight that finished first in the B final at the 2019 George Mason Invitational, while aiding the Eagles' Varsity Four to a fourth-place effort at the 2019 Colonial Athletic Association Championships. In addition, Geisler was named the team's most improved member following the 2018-19 season.

Geisler was twice named to the Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner's Honor Roll and earned her degree in psychology.

During her career as an Eagle, Taylor raced as a member of the Third Varsity Four and Second Varsity Eight boats, in addition to racing in the Third Varsity Eight boat during her senior season against Alabama and Southern Methodist. She was a member of the Second Varsity Eight boat that took first place at the 2018 George Mason Invitational, and claimed the top spot at the at the 2017 Mid-America Collegiate Rowing Association Championships.

Taylor has been named to the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll on two occasions while pursuing a degree in elementary education.

Wirth competed in multiple boat classes in her time at Eastern. During her senior season, the Southgate, Mich. native competed in the Third Varsity Four boat at the Head of the Grand, as well as in the Second Varsity Eight at the Head of the Hooch. In addition, she helped lead the Eagles' Varsity Four to a first-place performance in the B final of the 2019 George Mason Invitational, and was a member of the Varsity Four boat that took second place at the 2018 George Mason Invitational.

Wirth is a two-time CAA Commissioner's Honor Roll selection in her social work studies.
