YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Foguth Financial Group (FFG), a Michigan-based financial services firm and Proud Wealth Management Partner of Eastern Michigan University Athletics, will host "A Night at the Eagles Nest" on Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Incarnati Athletic Center in Ypsilanti. The event marks the official public launch of the firm's partnership with EMU Athletics.
Media are invited to attend and cover the event.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the evening featuring a presentation on the "5 Risks of Retirement" and key considerations for retirees and pre-retirees as they plan for the years ahead. Guests also will enjoy dinner, prizes and opportunities to interact with current EMU student-athletes inside one of the Eagles' signature athletic facilities.
The partnership brings financial education to the broader EMU Athletics community, including student-athletes navigating Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities, coaches and staff planning for the future, and the alumni and fans who support the Eagles.
"Foguth Financial Group came into this partnership wanting to give something back to the people who support this program," said Scott Wetherbee, Vice President/Director of Athletics at Eastern Michigan University. "A Night at the Eagles Nest is a great example of that. Opening the Incarnati Athletic Center to our alumni and fans for an evening built around something as practical as preparing for retirement is exactly the kind of partnership we want at Eastern."
"A Night at the Eagles Nest" is designed for adults who are in or approaching retirement and is best suited for individuals age 55 and older. Registration is required, space is limited, and each household is limited to two tickets.
"Education has always been at the heart of what we do, and this partnership gives us a bigger stage to do it on," said Michael Foguth, president and founder of Foguth Financial Group. "A Night at the Eagles Nest is retirement education the way it should be: practical, straightforward and a whole lot of fun."
