The Eagles' nightcap was a struggle from the outset, as EMU fell 25-16, 25-22, and 25-23 to tournament host Louisiana. Though Eastern led during moments of the second and third sets, they ultimately did not have the juice to take the sets.

Strefling and Haut once again led the Green and White in kills, each finishing with 11. Haut hit a strong .429 in the match, added three digs, and had a block assist. Strefling also added 11 digs, making it a perfect five-for-five in double-doubles on the season.

Four Eagles finished with double-digit digs on the night, led by Schomer with 18. Freshman Alayna Jansky (Mukwonago, Wis.-Mukwonago) had 13 digs on the night while adding six kills.

Eastern Michigan finishes the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic with an 11 a.m. ET match against McNeese State.
