EMU had 30-or-more student-athletes named to the honor roll for the second consecutive semester

 The Eastern Michigan University rowing team saw 31 of its student-athletes named to the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2019 semester, the association announced Thursday, July 25. 

Members of the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have participated in a CAA-sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term, and been enrolled as a full-time student at their respective universities.

The Eagles named to the honor roll were: then-seniors Sarah Anderson (Cleveland, Ohio-Charles F. EMU capped off its 2018-19 campaign matching its best finish in program history at the CAA Championships, May 19, placing third and totaling 19 points. At the championship meet, the Green and White earned a runner-up finish in the Second Varsity Eight race, a third-place mark in the First Varsity Eight, and a fourth-place performance in the Varsity Four race.
