BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University sophomore Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International) fired a one-under 71 and is tied with Cleveland State University's Kaylee Neumeister for the lead at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational, April 6. After a one-over front nine, Sripatrprasite finished the backside at two-under with birdies on No. 12, 13, and 14.
As a team, the Eagles carded an opening day score of 303 while Oakland University holds down the top spot with an 18-hole tally of 295 on the par 72, 5,829-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club course.
Juniors Julia Stevenson (Milford, Mich.-Milford) and Katelin Lawson (LaSalle, Ontario-Ridge Community-Tampa) each posted rounds of 77 for 19th-place, while Maria Connelly (Waterville, Ohio-Anthony Wayne) added a 78. Senior Kritsuda Apiwatthanadol (Bangkok, Thailand-Somtawin Witead Suska Huaymongkhon School) rounded out the lineup with an 81 to tie for 41st.
Taking part as an individuals, Green Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School) and Abby Livingston (Novi, Mich.-Novi) added an 80 and 82, respectively.
The tournament will conclude with one more round Sunday, April 7, at 8:30 a.m. Live stats will be available via Golfstat.com.
